As with shafts, you are free to choose any golf grip on the market for your
clubs. In addition to the well known grip brands I've also discovered many
excellent high performance alternatives. Part of my job is to help you
determine which grip characteristics will help enhance your swing.
Did you know that changing grips on your existing clubs can alter their balance? Ask how.

Since the grip is the only part of the club that you contact during a swing,
two of the most important variables to consider are feel and comfort. The
primary goal is to reduce grip pressure. There are also decisions to be
made with regards to grip style, price and durability. I'll make sure the grip
we select together will meet the technical needs for optimizing your clubs
for things like overall weight and swingweight. The feel is up to you.
For example, the Dual Durometer Lite from Golf Pride feels similar to the
Tour Velvet, but weighs less. This could make it a good choice for someone
that prefers a lighter club overall. Several grips from Winn also are very
lightweight, which is a good choice for shorter than average clubs where
swingweight can be an issue. If, on the other hand, you prefer a slightly
larger diameter grip for your lower hand, the V-Series from Wishon Golf
could be for you.
By balancing the needs for feel with club design criteria we can come up
with a solution that will allow you to get a better grip on your game.
