In exchange for the purchase
of new golf clubs, I offer to
list and sell an equal number
of trade-in clubs on eBay at
no charge. Listing prices are
determined by seller. Selling
prices are determined by
current market prices. Sales
are not guaranteed. All
proceeds minus listing and
PayPal fees are credited to
the seller.
Satisfaction Guarantee
I guarantee you will be
satisfied with your experience
in working with Campo
Custom Clubs. I will do
everything possible to ensure
the clubs you receive are
exactly as you ordered.
Although I can’t promise to
reduce your score on the
course, I can promise it won’t
be the clubs.
Workmanship Guarantee
All of my work is guaranteed
to meet or exceed the
standards of the Professional
Clubmakers’ Society for
workmanship and quality.
Product Warranties
The products I represent carry
individual warranties that vary
from company to company.
The minimum warranty is one
year from date of purchase.
30-Day Return Policy
If I haven’t done my job
properly, you shouldn't be
expected to keep clubs that
don’t fit or perform. I offer a
30-day return policy for golf
clubs that I have assembled
as a result of a
comprehensive fitting session
at my golf shop. All I require
prior to issuing a refund is the
opportunity to work together
first to make things right.
I do not accept returns for
clubs that have been
assembled with customer
supplied components or for
clubs that have been
assembled contrary to my
professional
recommendations.
For all clubs, I offer a 30-day
modification policy that will
allow us to work together in
fine-tuning your clubs. There
is no charge for these
services, however, return
shipping is the responsibility
of the buyer.
Shipping / Handling Policy
My primary shipper is UPS.
Shipping charges are based
on actual costs. A $5.00 flat
fee is added to each order to
cover the costs of shipping
materials and insurance.
Demo Clubs – Try Before You
Buy
I maintain an inventory of
demo clubs for most of the
products I represent. They are
available to try at my shop or
at your local range/course at
no cost. A deposit is required
for all loaners.

Who is Campo Custom Clubs?
First of all, thank you for visiting my website.
My name is Bob Hickman and I look forward to being your clubmaker. My
goal is to build custom-fit, quality golf clubs that meet or exceed customer
expectations at a price fair to both of us. By doing so I hope to build
relationships that last longer than a golf glove.
My shop is located in Long Beach, California. I am fully equipped to
custom-build clubs to any specifications. For local clients I offer complete
club fitting services including demo clubs for a wide range of components.
All of the products I carry are high quality Original Equipment Designs that
compare favorably with the heavily marketed brands, both in performance
and price.
My primary function as a clubmaker is to eliminate variables. Since there
are no real standards in the industry, I utilize technology to quantify as
many of the club characteristics as possible. By doing so I can provide a
more precise comparison of the components. This is especially important
in pre-manufactured clubs where shaft flex is simply assigned a range. I
prefer using raw data over the reliance on another's marketing
designation.
My clubs have several advantages over those you might buy off the rack.
First of all, I fit them to you, not the other way around. I precisely build
clubs that incorporate not only the basic fit requirements, but such details
as frequency matching, proper alignment of the shafts, and MOI Club
Matching so that every club feels the same and takes the same energy to
swing. Large companies do the same thing for their Tour players, but don't
have the time to devote to the masses. They don't even go out of their way
to align shafts properly for the most part.
Second, I focus on individuals and not market share. I assemble-to-order
each club based on the needs of each golfer rather than a long-term
forecast. No round pegs in a square hole. I prefer to take the time
required to ensure my clubs fit the needs of my clients and not the best
interests of the shareholders.
And finally, since components are readily available, I can keep my
inventory low to reduce costs and adapt quickly to the latest the industry
has to offer. Lower overhead costs allow me to offer golf clubs at
reasonable prices and superior value. You can pay more for clubs off the
rack, but unless you make a lucky choice I guarantee my clubs will fit you
and your swing better.
